I remember having an ostrich burger in Tehachapi. That is all. I’m assuming you’ll journey down 14 through Palmdale and Lancaster now. There is also a short cut to 15/395 somewhe re arou nd Mojave on a 2 lane that is kind of interesting and cuts out a lot of the LA crap.

My dog hates being in my old cars, bumpy and loud are not his thing! He isn’t thrilled with the CRV unless we are in town, going slow and have the windows down. He hates hates the Z.
